Help bring Adalia home

My name is Aubray and my husband is Austen.  We have been married for 8 years and have 3 wonderful children.  A few weeks ago I came across a little girl that is needing a forever family.  Her name is Adalia (Jocie) and was born in March 2012.  Adalia (Jocie) was born with Down Syndrome and now lives in an orphanage in an Eastern European country where Down Syndrome is looked down upon and seen as unwanted.

Adalia (Jocie) lives in a baby orphanage where she has a caretaker who also cares for many other infants. There are so many other babies most get little stimulation and mental growth.  When she turns 4 she will be forced out, to live in an institution.  Most children don't live past a year in these facilities and if they do they are severely malnourished and forgotten, left to die.

Adopting from a foreign country is extremely costly.  Before we can even finalize the process we have to pay for agency fees, visas, birth certificates, marriage licenses, home studies, dossier paperwork, fingerprints, etc.  We will also have to make 2 trips both for about 2 weeks.  So we will have to pay for airfare, travel, hotel stay, translator fees, child’s visa, court fees, country fee, etc.  All in all about $25,000 is what it costs to save a child’s life and bring her to a family that will love her and care for her forever.

Please help us in this process to bring her home!  We are so grateful to all of YOU who are going to help us in this journey.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you cannot contribute financially, even if you can, please share our story with those around you!  Maybe we can open our hearts and eyes to those children who are staying in these orphanages and give them a home!
